One-hour hike – Forest track, orchards, local village and temple.
Two-hour hike – Forest road, Snake Mother temple, forest track/bridlepath.
Three-hour hike – Village temples, forest tracks, deity shelter.
Kiari temples and village – taxi+walk. 4 hours.
The River Picnic – taxi+walk. 4 hours. Swimming.Paddling
The Pass Picnic – taxi+walk. 4 hours. Views of Great Himalayas.
The Peak Picnic – taxi+hike. 4 hours. Views, temple, Griffons.

Dharamsala. Home of Dalai Lama / Tibet in exile. Overnight bus ride from Shimla. One night minimum stay recommended.
Rishikesh. The Ganges. Yoga Capital. Ashrams. Overnight bus ride from Shimla. One night minimum stay recommended.
Lahaul and Spiti. ‘Little Tibet’. High, dry deserts. Buddhist monasteries. Five night minimum stay recommended.
