Welcome to Himalayan Orchard
A rustic farmstay in the Shimla hills,
where character meets comfort

Not Your Usual Getaway
A lived-in, working farmstead

Our 75-year-old farmhouse offers something more personal: it is a lived-in space — part home, part ongoing experiment - growing organically over time. Guests share our routine: meals around the table, woodfires in winter, short power cuts, sudden weather, long walks, or helping out when there’s fruit to pit or fires to light.

You’re invited to participate, but never required to.
We host just a few guests at a time, and are especially suited to those seeking time for reflection, walking, or writing — or simply for being still.

What Makes Us Different
Comfort Without Conformity
Each space has its own character, shaped by nature, history, and a love for quaintness & beauty. No two rooms are the same. Instead of polished uniformity, we offer warmth, simplicity, and thoughtful detail. A place where the things that matter take centre stage.

Come Slow Down With Us
Whether you're seeking reflection, inspiration, or re-connection—with nature, yourself, or others—our hillside farm offers an experience that’s rare and real.

We invite you to slow down, and discover a stay unlike any other.
