Location

We’re in the mid-Himalaya of Himachal Pradesh, at 2,100 metres — above the Chagaunti valley, surrounded by orchard and forest. Our village is called Rukhla.

Once you're at the farm parking, there’s a short walk of about 50 metres, followed by a stone stairway. Please be aware that stairs are part of the terrain here — it may not be ideal for those with knee or ankle difficulties.

Domestic Guests: How to Reach Us

By Car
GPS navigation (Google Maps) works well. Set your destination to Himalayan Orchard, Rukhla. The final stretch is a mountain road — winding and beautiful, but slow. Let us know your expected arrival time; we meet all guests personally and are happy to help with bags.

By Bus
There is one HRTC government bus that passes the farm gate each afternoon, originating from Shimla. the 12:40pm bus to Reoghati (via Chadiyana/Keeth). Buy your ticket to Rukhla — we’ll be at the farm gate to meet you and stop the bus.

Alternatively, take any bus heading towards Rohru or Jubbal and get off at Gumma. We can help you book a local taxi from there.

Nearest railhead: Shimla.

Nearest airports: Shimla and Chandigarh.

Getting to the Farm from New Delhi Airport

If your flight lands between midnight and noon, and you’re not planning a halt in Delhi, here are your main options for reaching the farm:

A. From New Delhi Airport to Chandigarh

By Express Train

07:40 am: Shatabdi Express to Kalka (~4 hrs)
12:15 pm: Himalayan Queen from Kalka to Shimla (~5 hrs)

C. From Chandigarh to the Farm

By Morning Train to Shimla + Taxi
