BEER

From Grain to Glass — Traditional Brewing at Home Scale

This is not a commercial-scale setup — just a working, rural kitchen where beer is brewed from scratch, the old way.

Michael demonstrates the process from malting grain to fermenting, bottling, and ageing, using simple tools and time-tested methods. Guests are invited to observe, ask questions, and taste from previous batches.
We brew using Indian barley when available, often infusing with orchard fruit or herbs depending on the season.

What You'll See (and Taste)

- Malting and mashing
- Boiling and adding hops
- Cooling, fermentation, and bottling
- Understanding natural carbonation
- A discussion of yeasts, sugars, and timing

This is a demonstration, not a full brewing course, but guests leave with a clear sense of how it works — and a glass in hand.

For those interested in a more in-depth learning with a view to making some at home, we offer a 2 night / 3 day course
